please look at the question first! If you already have please proceed reading:
Well the environment light was always the same…. only a complete white screen on my computer screen as the background….
Now where’s the trick? why does it look blue? Well as you may know… LCD’s screens emit polarized light, which getas a different polarization angle when reflected… So I’m using a circular polarizer filter, but rotated 90 degrees for the second shot… so it completelly blocks light from the Screen, but not the reflected light… so that’s why you can see that light refelected on the glass… It’s like having an invisible light source! Can you imagine shooting against a light without capturing the light itself? Well that might be possible.
What are the white dots? Well that is simply…. DUST on my screen! Dust particles reflect the white light and they look pretty intense since they ae directlly receiving the light but remember that the light source is blocked…. so that’s basically a super tiny particle almost at the same intensity as the screen, but exposed around 30 seconds. I think this is cool!!! :p
