PC fan mod (playing with scrap plastic)

PC fan mod (playing with scrap plastic)

I seem to have lost the metal case side to this PC case, but had this [much older] plastic tower case going out to the trash and thought I’d retrofit it to cover the exposed innards. Works just fine for now; eventually I’ll find the proper siding and cut the fan holes in that. I have also measured out a vent hole in the top of the case.

I know this photo would not be to everybody’s taste but I have some great memories with it…….This photo was taken about 14 years ago. The first family holiday abroad (Side_ Turkey) the camara used would have been a canon EOS 650. Taken standing, no tripod………I was sorting through some old photos and negatives and found this on a negative, anyway I managed to scan the negative into the computer cleaned it up a bit (dust particles transfered during the scan) in Elements 6 and this is the result……..

imissyou.

imissyou.

so it has been awhile since my last upload on account of being insanely busy/my computer crashing.

basically: i got a haircut (finally), i dusted off the old TLR and have been using it all day, i lost some friends, i also gained a few as well.

my heart is in the right place and the shadows don’t cover my eyes for the most part.

news flash! i received a dean’s scholarship to Susquehanna University to play lacrosse and i have committed!

imissyouall.
God bless.

I couldn’t find the front of this case either, so the HDD/Power LEDs and the reset/power buttons are from a different computer case all-together. You can see them kind of hanging down to the floor. :oP

Honestly, I like the trashy ‘hack look’ this on this case, with a lot of the bare case exposed.. My previous case sported a sweet "hanging fan mod" to push air to the CPU and RAM, but left the innards too exposed. See here: flickr.com/photos/jpl3k/1984471884/
