Well, I discovered that placing Miyoshi on my computer desk and using the window as a backdrop works quite well. I can place the tripod and sit in the chair to compose. Being over 150 years of age, my poor knees don’t work like they used to when I was only 100 years old. But, being as how these dolls’ faces attract dust and have built in flaws, when I process the photographs I have to do extensive spot removals of imperfections and dust. Well, I use Lightroom. That program gets slower and slower with each update. I click on the spot removal tool and then wait for the computer to catch up. It did not use to be like this. I am saving money to upgrade my desktop computer but in the meantime, processing photos with the spot removal tool is just not worth the hassle.

This is one of my nephew from Japan. Although he sabotages camera, telephone, computers and eats dust, paper, and hair,he is still my lovely nephew.
