NZXT 410 Spring Cleaning

NZXT 410 Spring Cleaning

Spring cleaning again but the its the main gaming PC. This dusting was a bit easier because this rig doesn’t run 24 hours a day like my server PC.

I wish this desktop had a filter in every intake or hole. I have purchased magnetic filters for the side and bottom intakes, but the front does not have any filters. It’s just a grill that intakes a bit of dust.

The Temps are pretty low with the system never going over 95 degrees Fahrenheit. The NZXT 410 is overall a great case for beginners like myself.

GIGABYTE GTX 970 SLI

GIGABYTE GTX 970 SLI

Spring cleaning again but the its the main gaming PC. This is dusting was a bit easier because it doesn’t run 24 hours a day like my server PC.

I fell into the hype of the Nvidia’s claim of two 970 video cards would be able to run 4K games. It does however my settings would need to be a very low settings. I cannot afford the new Titans that recently came out so its looking like I need to downgrade my monitor to a 1440p. Don’t get me wrong, my Samsung UHD is able to go down 1440p, but I’d rather play games on an IPS 1440p monitor rather than a TN panel that is a bit washed out. Let me know what you guys think.

HTPC (AZZA/CypberpowerPC Case) Short Review

HTPC (AZZA/CypberpowerPC Case) Short Review

I originally obtained this case from Cyberpower PC which they call it the Zeus Mini. It is a great small form factor case, but I feel that it does not do to well in cooling the components.

Pros:
It looks cool with it’s exterior lights on the front with the brushed metal face.

Cons:
Working with this case was very difficult due to my fat pudgy hands and inexperience. I had to remove all the fans that are placed over the components before installing a long 292mm Gigabyte GTX 770 Video Card. The power source for the video card were touching the ceiling of the case causing slight bending. Wire management was very difficult and it was very messy looking to my taste. The top of the case has some air holes but is not dust proof. The front IO has only one usb 2.0 and one 3.0.
