Cooler Master is known for their great cases, this one is no exception. Positives The handle is sturdy and comfortable. After you tinker with this case, you will never want to buy a case without a handle again. Visually, it is an improvement over the previous Scout. The case looks awesome it has a very rugged look, but it is also very curvy. Well built this case is very sturdy, and seems like it can take a beating or two. Cable Management Im blown away at the amount of space that is on the right side behind the tray. Quiet Very low noise comes from the Scout 2. Nice Size Not too big, not too small. Negatives All of these are minor gripes Window is very small and is tinted, so you really cant see into your case. Hopefully CM will release an upgraded window in the future. USB ports on the top of the case are kind of awkward. Not a huge deal, but the first Scout had the right idea. Only one fan. If you buy this case, prepare to get more fans. There is a 4pack of CM fans on Amazon for a cheap price that you should check out if you are on a budget (works great for me). Dust Filters Could use more filters in more places not really a deal breaker. Price Because of the negative listed above, I dont think this should be a 100 dollar case. I think $79.99 USD would be the perfect price point. Overall I think its great case and a perfect upgrade from the Scout 1. I give it 910 score, so 55 stars.

Fellowes Classroom Supplies Pressurized 99790

Fellowes Classroom Supplies Pressurized 99790

garyadair.com/644127.
The Fellowes Air Duster is a lifesaver for computers. While it wont help with viruses or adware, it does blow dirt and dust away from cooling vents and out of keyboards. Most air dusters are the same, and evaluating this one, then, is difficult. Most importantly, it works. It has the same pressure, and total air as the Office Depot or CompUSA product. The straw seems to be the same quality, stronger than the kind used for drinks. To clean your monitor or computer, turn them off, and spray air on, but across it. Blowing directly at them will only spray dust into the device. To clean your keyboard, turn it over, and give it a shake. Lean it at around 45 degrees, and the put the straw into the space between the keys at the top. Spray the air directly down, dragging the straw downward until you reach the end of the keyboard. Repeat from one end to the next, and dont forget the number pad. Shake the keyboard again, and clean up the crumbs and dust from your desk. Choosing the Fellowes version over another needs to be based on price, convenience, or brand allegiance. Ordering online, along with other office products, can save money or hassles. You wont find a better general office air duster. Comparable, yes, but better, no. I fully recommend the Fellowes Air Duster. Anthony Trendl editor, HungarianBookstore.com

Monster FlatScreen Deluxe ScreenClean Kit

Monster FlatScreen Deluxe ScreenClean Kit

garyadair.com/987648.
Let me start off by saying Im a "techie" kind of person. Im always looking for the next best thing and keeping up with my electronics news, and with that usually comes an "AntiMonster" sort of mentality not that theyre stuff is bad, its usually not much better (in terms of quality) and much higher in price than the other stuff. Despite all that, I was "upsold" on this kit when buying a new TV about 3 years ago on the offer that I "could return it for a full refund if it didnt work" I took my chances and am very glad I did. In looking at the comments, it looks like most complaints come from LCD owners I cant comment on that as I dont own an LCD TV, but it has worked flawlessly on everything else Ive tried iPod Touch, iPhone, iPad, Plasma TV, RearProjector TV, LCD Monitor (glossy) and Laptop Monitor. To date, none of these have left any streaks or odd marks, and this is after 3 years. The item itself is very basic a spray and a microfiber cloth. The special part is the spray while Im not sure what exactly is in it, it works wonders. I consider it "The GooGone of screen cleaners" just like how googone seems to magically remove anything sticky, this magically cleans your screen. Whether its fingerprints, dust or even food (eating next to a computer, food seems to sometimes just fly towards your monitor dont judge me! 😉 ) this stuff just wipes it right off without having to "fight it". Spray the cloth once or twice (never spray anything directly on the surface youre cleaning! And never use any alcohol based cleaners or generalpurpose glass cleaners (windex) on devices. Most have a protective film (often an antiglare film) on them that these will eat right through), then wipe the surface clean. A small device (ipadiphoneipod touch) is usually good with a single spray, TVsMonitors might need a few. Despite the small size, the stuff lasts (small sprays not needing it often). This pack is nice in that it includes 2 small bottles (one for home, one for on the go) there are also kits for the same price that use just a larger bottle (and you can load up a small spray bottle from that). Whichever way you go, I think youll like it (apparently as long as you dont use an LCD TV). I will deduct points for the fact that theyre not up front about it only working on SOME types of screens. The instructions say to refer to your devices manual to see how to clean it (and not use this if its not recommended) when they sell it as a "Flat Screen Cleaning Kit", you expect it to work on anything. I have seen instructions that recommend against using any types of spraybased cleaners and going just for a microfiber cloth or a small bit of water on a towel whether this will actually do anything negative is unknown). Because this information isnt visible until you open the product, its a bit shady for them to do it that way as youve already bought it! Im not saying this is the best of the screencleaners. I havent tried the others, and after this one works so well Id be hesitant to switch to a cheaper one, but I can say this one works wonders. You can get the same effect with just water Im sure (just like how you can remove stickers without googone), but youll be doing a lot more work and spending a lot more time. For that, its worth the cash (if you dont use an LCD Monitor ) )

Corsair Vengeance Series Computer CC 9011016 WW

Corsair Vengeance Series Computer CC 9011016 WW

garyadair.com/732915.
Whoa, this is a Corsair case The Vengeance C70 case has a bold and distinctive appearance, unlike Corsairs Obsidian, Graphite, and Carbide cases. Those cases, on the whole, have very clean and classy aesthetics. Their spartan design is what I found so attractive about them. The C70s militarystyle look is quite a departure for Corsair. But is it still a rocksolid Corsair case PROS Distinctive, militarystyle appearance Durable steel construction Roomy interior to work in Plenty of cooling options Toolfree drive bays Great cable management Three washable dust filters CONS Front dust filter isnt easily accessible IN THE BOX Quick start guide Nylon zip ties Hard drive and motherboard screws 2.5inch and SSD flat screws USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 motherboard adapter DESIGN When you look at the C70, you cant help but notice the unmistakable militarystyle visual cues. Complete with side panel clamps, red power button, covered reset switch, and military green paint (also available in black, and white), the C70 has a distinct style that should appeal to a lot of gamers. While the styling is bold, I still think the C70s appearance is fairly clean; Corsair didnt go overboard with it, which is just fine by me. The C70 also has two handles, located on the top panel one in the front and one in the back for easy carrying. The handles have a spring that makes them drop flat when not in use. The left side panel also has a tinted window for showing off all the gear youve worked hard to put together. The C70 weighs just over 18 pounds and is of average size, for a midtower ATX case. The entire case, including the front panel and drive bay covers, is made out of solid steel. The front IO panel consists of the power button, HDD light, headphone jack, mic jack, two USB 3.0 ports and the reset switch. The power button requires a little extra effort to actuate than Im used to, but I personally like it. Since the power button protrudes out, rather than being flush, the extra effort needed should help prevent accidental shutdowns. INSTALLATION The left and right side panels on the C70 are attached via quickrelease clips. Theyre a little stiff at first, but they loosen up a bit after opening and closing them a few times. Once you get inside, theres plenty of room to work comfortably. Installing the motherboard was a piece of cake and theres a large CPU backplate cutout for easy installation of CPU coolers. The ATX 8pin power connector is easy to route to the motherboard via the cutout and doesnt get in the way of a 240mm radiator. The C70s top radiator mounts are shifted slightly to the front, to give a little extra room for the ATX 8pin connector. This might not seem like a big deal, but if youve ever tried to attach a large radiator with the 8pin connector in the way, youll appreciate the improvement. There are eight expansion slots in the C70 and plenty of room for long GPUs (up to 320mm). The three 5.25inch drive bays use a toolless mounting system thats very easy to use and effective. Theyre less involved than some of Corsairs other cases, but work just as well. The six 3.5inch2.5inch drive bays are separated into two drive cages and come with toolless drive trays that can fit both sizes of drives. However, for 2.5inch drives, like SSD drives, youll have to screw them onto the trays. The bottom drive cage can be removed if you need to make room for a 240mm radiator at the bottom. One of my favorite features in Corsair cases is the cable management. The cable routing holes make cleaning up the inside of your case a breeze. New to the C70, though, is builtin cable clamps, on the right side of the case. These clamps are a godsend for keeping cables neatly organized. I admit that I rarely take the time to keep my cables tied down, mainly because I frequently rearrange my components or Im testing some new hardware. But with the clamps, its a cinch to keep it all neat. COOLING The Vengeance C70 comes with three 120mm fans. The one in the rear is an exhaust fan, while the two intake fans are attached to the drive cages. You can also put two additional 120mm fans on the opposite side of the cages, two on the top (or 240mm radiator), and two on the bottom (or 240mm radiator). You can mount two more 120mm fans on the left side panel. All told, you can have up to 10 fans installed in the C70, which should give you plenty of flexibility in creating the proper cooling setup for your hardware configuration. You also get three dust filters in the C70. There are two on the bottom, with one sliding out from the back and one from the front. The last filter is behind the front panel, but cant be accessed without removing the front panel first. CONCLUSION At first glance, the Vengeance C70 doesnt look like a case made by Corsair. It has a militarystyle appearance thats not a signature of Corsair, at all. Upon closer inspection, however, its definitely a Corsair case. The C70s solid build q

3M Privacy Filter Widescreen GPF17 0W

3M Privacy Filter Widescreen GPF17 0W

garyadair.com/994402.
Ive owned this product for about a month now and purchased it because I was frustrated with seatmates on airplanes looking at my notebook screen for the whole flight, trying to figure out what I was doing. This screen works wonders in deterring others from taking glances at my private information. In fact, most people think Im crazy, typing away on a computer with a blank screen, or so they think. There are some disadvantages with this screen though. Your seatmate directly next to you will be able to see through the filter to your screen partially, because they are within the viewing angle of the screen with the filter on. But move over any farther and the screen is not visible, nor is it visible across the aisle (if sitting in an aisle seat). About the only other place that it is visible is if someone is standing directly above you, one row back. Turning down the brightness of your screen also helps immensely in blocking people from viewing your screen through the filter at any angle. (Please note, having this filter installed screens out about half of the light coming out of the screen. If you have poor eyesight with dim lighting and have trouble with computer screens, this product may not be for you.) Additionally, the clear plastic tabs included with the filter adheres to the plastic border around the notebook LCD screen to keep the filter in place. It works, but blocks about a 18" of the screen at 6 points, especially noticeable around the bottom of the screen where the start bar is located. Youll also notice a large "3M PF14.1W" printed in the top right hand corner of the filter. Its used to help in determining whether the filter is facing the right direction, but its quite distracting at times. The height of the lettering is equivalent in size to the window bar at the top of any program. This filter is also very dust, lint, debris, and smudge attracting. Youll find yourself wiping the filter often. Overall, this filter does its job. Great for those who need to comply with HIPPA or other privacy regulations. But as an individual consumer, I wonder if the high price is justified for the benefits it provides.
