Where does it come from Project 365 Day 360

Where does it come from Project 365 Day 360

No not the vacuum cleaner, that came from Carrefour. I mean all the dust that seems to accumulate in the spare room.

Pam says it is because I have a computer in there. Well, the fans inside the computer might circulate the dust a a little but they don’t make it.

Never mind, it was another grey day yesterday so it was a good opportunity to give the study area its weekly clean.

Before: My laptop runs too hot

Before: My laptop runs too hot

Look at that icky dust. So I cleaned the fan guts.
I have three screws left after putting back together… Uh oh.
Also, I forgot to take the After: photo.

2008 March 28 – the other side of the old Dell P3 power supply. I have this feeling that I’m going to regret breaking it open, but it /has/ been sitting around for months. (Rats, wonder if the capacitors are bad because of non-use.)

Oh well, at least there’s less chance of shocking myself because it /has/ been sitting around. If it stops raining tomorrow, I’ll take it outside and wipe/shake/compressed air all the dust off. The enclosure itself still looks good, just a bit rusty around the cut edges, mostly the fan window. Nothing some sanding and spray painting can’t fix. 😛
