Muni # 8229, a Neoplan AN440A, from the first batch (2000) that Muni bought of the model, working the northbound 28-19th Avenue line, crosses Taravel Street on 19th Avenue. (The L-Taravel streetcar tracks run right underneath the bus.) Taken in San Francisco, CA through the windshield of my (then new-to-me) 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee by a Nikon N75 with a Nikkor 28-80mm ƒ3.3-5.6 lens on Fujicolor Superia 400. Negative scanned into computer by an HP G4010. Dust removal, color and gamma correction done in Paint Shop Pro Photo X2.
Taken less than a minute after the prior shot in my photo stream… MUNI still has problems with buses bunching up… Yes, the camera IS level – the intersection isn’t! (note telephone poles and buildings…)
That’s also a snazzy ivory-colored Porsche crossing the L tracks…
