A mixed flock of mostly Western Grebes Aechmophorus occidentalis and Clark’s Grebes Aechmophorus clarkii with some Lesser Scaups Aythya affinis in the mix, seen off-shore of the Ceaser Chavez Park in Berkeley, CA. Taken by a Nikon F4s with a Promaster 100-400mm lens (at 400) on Fuji Press 1600. Cropped heavily to eliminate excess foreground. Negative scanned into computer by an HP G4010. Dust reduction, brightness, contrast and color enhancement done in Paint Shop Pro X2.
