I have been spending a lot of time lately doing what might best be described as computer archaeology — that is, finding and unearthing images long buried in the substrata of my hard drive, then dusting them off, preserving them, and making them available for all the world to see. This informal portrait of Marietta is the latest such discovery. It was taken last February during the very first photoshoot I ever did with her. I decided to convert it to sepia, but I’m not sure whether I prefer it this way, or in black and white, or in color.
